Die Sternsinger waren da!

This afternoon, we welcomed visitors from the Orient to our home:

A team of Sternsinger visited us, bring with them a song, some verses, and a blessing for our home.  On our front door, they chalked: 20*C+M+B+09.  The letters stand for the Latin "Christus Mansionem Benedicat", or "Christ, bless this house."  Just as the three wise men brought gifts to the Christ child, the Sternsinger collect donations to benefit children in need.  This year's focus was on children in Columbia.
